California’s Prop 12, a major victory to regulate the animal agriculture industry won a court victory in that state, but that hasn’t stopped Big Ag from trying to influence federal regulations, according to Rebecca Wolf, Senior Analyst at Food and Water Watch. In Wolf’s recent article, “The EATS Act: Lawmakers’ Big Gift to Big Ag in this Farm Bill“, she talks about how this federal bill will overrule animal rights, harm small farms, and shift the balance of power over agriculture from the states to the federal government.
