Thirty Years of Trying to Solve the Housing Crisis

On July 17 and 18, the Wisconsin Collaboration for Affordable Housing will host its 30th annual “A Home for Everyone” conference at Madison’s Marriott West hotel.  With the City of Madison experiencing the highest rent increases in the nation, the quest for solutions to the area’s housing crisis has never been more urgent.  But will more-of-the-same reliance on old solutions still work, or is it time for more innovative measures?  Dean Loumos has spent his entire career working as a housing provider and affordable housing advocate.  He joined the Buzz on June 10, 2024.
