TetraPAKMAN Creates Art To Save The Climate at Madison Public Library

In 2013, Madison Public Library started its Bubbler program to bring working artists into the library to create, teach and interact with the community. One of the very first Bubbler artists in residence was Madison artist and activist Victor Castro, better known as TetraPAKMAN for his reuse of recyclable rectangular packaging material.

Now, a decade later, TetraPAKMAN returns to the Madison Central Library to reflect on what we have learned – and what we haven’t learned – in the last decade of climate change – and to ask, “What do we want our next decade to look like?”  TetraPAKMAN joined the Monday Buzz by phone to describe his work and mission.

TetraPAKMAN’s residency runs September through December in the Bubbler Room of Madison’s Central Library.  For more information, go to the Madison Bubbler website.
