This is the season for giving — and for scamming, according to Michelle Reinen, Administrator of the State of WI Department of Ag, Trade, and Consumer Protection. Scams some in many forms: a call from your supposed grandchild asking for money, an email pretending to be your bank, a text that your package is being held up and asking you to verify your account, or an altered gift card. Reinen talks about how you can recognize these attacks on your money, and what you can do to protect yourself, and how to report these incidents.
