The Drikung Kagyu Dharma Circle of Madison was started by Khenchen Rinpoche in 1992 and continues to meet Monday’s 5:30- 7pm via Zoom and Saturday’s at the Wilmar Center 10:00am-11:30pm to study and practice Mahayana Tibetan Buddhist meditation. Jan Miyasaki spends time today talking one-on-one with Khenchen Rinpoche to learn about his life as a child in Tibet to moving to India in 1960 and finally settling in Madison (but still a world traveler), and talks about the teaching of Buddhism to train the mind as the source of all — happiness, peace, meaningfulness, and more.
