League of Women Voters Deploys New Voter Resources

WORT 89.9FM Madison · League Of Women Voters Deploys New Voter Resources

Tuesday, November 8th is Election Day for the 2022 midterm elections.  Here in Wisconsin, voters will cast ballots for state, federal and county races including governor, Attorney General and U.S. Senator.  Absentee balloting remains a popular – and growing – choice, despite a recent state supreme court ruling banning the use of ballot drop boxes.  Nevertheless, most voters will still cast their ballot at their local polling place on Election Day.  With locally run elections under increased scrutiny, rumor mills running rampant, partisan poll watchers and understaffed local polling places, many voters may wonder what to expect.  Here to sort that out for us is Debra Cronmiller, Executive Director of the Wisconsin Chapter of the League of Women Voters.
